Agnes Brown Leach (Mrs. Henry Goddard) was a civic leader and life member of the Survey Associates. In addition to volunteer leadership on New York state commissions for health, education, and welfare, she served as a member of the Survey board from 1917 to 1952 and played an active role in planning the anniversary commemorations in 1937 and 1946 and in fund raising efforts during the journal's financial crises of the early 1950s.
